Ottawa Residents Coming Together

It's been a rough few weeks for Ottawa. People struggling with food insecurity are facing the downtown gridlock and streets full of protesters. There has been a great surge of neighbours helping neighbours, and some residents are asking where to donate funds to support those impacted by recent events. We can help, and many of our meals have already been distributed to downtown residents.

Food for Thought provides meals to over 28 different locations in Ottawa that feed people with different needs. If you or someone you know wants to help feed a specific group of people (e.g., women, families) or locations (e.g., St Joe’s, Shepherd of Good Hope), please mention it in your donation. We will do our best to direct the funds to supply them with meals.
