5237 Meals Served Downtown During Protest

Eating enough good food to stay healthy shouldn't be a challenge for anyone. The recent protests added another obstacle for many people to access proper nutrition and for local charities to serve them.

We were able to distribute 5237 nutritious, ready-to-eat meals and hampers to areas affected by the protests during the occupation. We wish to thank you, the RBC Foundation, and United Way for helping cover the extra cost.

For any social assistance, emergencies remember to call 211. Food for Thought is registered with them for emergency food needs.
